Hillsboro is a mid-sized city located in the Portland metropolitan area in Oregon. With a population of around 110,000 residents, the city is the fifth-largest in the state. The economy is driven by a mix of industries, including technology, healthcare, and manufacturing, and is home to major companies such as Intel, Nike, and Salesforce. Hillsboro is known for its commitment to sustainability, with a range of initiatives in place to promote environmentally-friendly practices. The city also boasts a vibrant arts and culture scene, with numerous galleries, theaters, and music venues, as well as a variety of parks and outdoor recreational opportunities. The Oregon International Airshow, one of the largest airshows in the United States, is held in Hillsboro annually, drawing visitors from around the country.
